Honda Civic EXi recommended Tyre Size

Please suggest me best / recommended tyre size and make for my Honda Civic EXi 2003, (for long use)

exi came with the wrong rim size from factory
even the speedomenter is configured on 15rim which came in vti
tire size depends on what size rims u r running

I have installed vti 15" with 195/65 profile on my Exi 02".

Error of speedometer with GPS is not more than 1km/h.

185/65 R14 was the factory size.
195/65 R15 would do no harm with regard to mileage and suspension and almost no errors in speed.

I have calculated two times. Came out like 12.5 and 12. This was an year or so ago.
Driving was between wah and islamabad via gt road...

Salam,
I have civic 2003 exi prosmatic, in city i am getting 6km/L and on highway is giving14km/L. I have done tuneup from 2 different places, plugs, injectors, map sensor, changed. fuel pump cleaned, tapet adjusted and with computer inspection everything is fine.nothing helped in local milage increase.
The mechanic said it can be your tyres, because in long it gives good milage on speed of 110, 120.
My tyres are 195 65 R15 and on the door it says 175 70 R13.
And now my front shocks started to leak, rakends almost gone, stearing box has play and dook sound when going over pot holes. bought it 1 year ago and all these thing were fine.
I am suspecting heavy alloy wheels and large tyres.

Looks like you drive like me
I don't blame tyres. I blame heavy rims.
I have used 195/55R15 on rims and 195/45R16 on light weight alloy rims. Yes 195/45 was stiff. But car feels much lighter. Because rotational mass decreases.
If tyre profile is the case it will effect on long as well. Same friction.
Also auto cars give mileage in city.

this is the same factory size of a 1996-00 civic exi.

best to stick with stock size. i use 185/70 r13 tyres.

switch to OEM wheel size. sooner the better., please
