All you need is a CL7 engine and a better suspension. I've been wanting to do this but can't find a proper CL7 engine any place.

can you post a few pics of your Civic and your mods...

what have u modified in your civic? engine? whatelse? and whats the resulting increase in performance?

I'll have to take some pictures, And yes my engine is modified (intake, plugs, headers, ehaust system, ground wiring, performance tuning and some other trinkets). Other stuff includes bodykits, suspension, lowering, sports rims and tyres and lots of other stuff. The resulting increase (engine wise) is quite substantial however the car takes a massive hit on fuel consumption.

A great car indeed..for a civic lover like me this is heaven !!..salarzae bro how often do u see a civic like this in malaysia ? r these quite rare ?...i wish i could just get the 6 cd in dash changer thing....as i am sure it can fit into a 05 paki civic..

Not sure about malaysia but these civics aren't rare in thailand! And p.s you can get a 6cd in dash changer in karachi (scout around sadar).

instead of k20 y dont you go for f20 (S2000`S ENGINE).. IT IS 240 STOCK and i think that the transmission of vti,exi will do gr8 when coupled with it

Now where would one find an S2000 enigne in our country? Transmission would also need to be changed (I'm no expert on that topic) and so would the suspension.

Good find guys...K20 in a Civic which is stock. Havent seen this setup before personally.

K20 swaps are expensive and it would be great to see if someone has done it in Pakistan. A K series engine will fit in almost any Civic from 92 onwards (88-91 EFs maybe) but you will need new transmission or mod the existing one, new enigne mounts, updgraded suspension and braking components.

Of all the modifications you have mentioned about your car, i cant imagine how have you increased your performance significantly. I am not saying you are lying but adding an intake, header, exhaust, upgraded ground wires, tuning will result in nominal gains (on a 1.6 SOHC Civic no more than 7-10 bhp maybe) so i dont know what are you talking about?

Based on my experience working on D and B series Honda Engines...there is no magic bullet out there. Unless you go forced induction, all these mods bring about minor changes. Can you explain further??

There are several ways to get some extra hp out of your car, and yes forced induction is what mine mostly concentrates on. Other ways to increase power which I've TRIED and (removed) have been straight through exhaust. It's very effective but noisy. You can also shorten the engine belt to give a boost. There are lots and lots of ways. Ofcourse a 1500CC car will remain a 1500CC car and will take a lot of hit on consumption but the notice in performance increase is significant.
