there is only one k-series swap and that was done by r-speed in a 96 or was it a 95 , not sure ..
the k20 is a bolt on fit for the 01-above models , the k20 type-r is a 220 hp engine (comes with a 6speed lsd transmission), a k20 swap in our civics would make it one of the most fastest NA cars in pakistan .
there is currently one kswap being done in islamabad ,

takes on vti's of the same specs pretty easily
Note: cl7's arent fast ,
i have a vti with basic stage-1 mods and beat cl7's easily.
cl9's have a pretty strong third gear
launch properly, gain the most in your second and you might be ahead during the quartermile ,
have myself beaten cl9's.
the manual euro-r is a bit different though , hehe
