Honda Civic Model Below 1997 Vs Baleno

I am planning to buy a Honda Civic Model Below 97 car. I think it will cost me about 500,000/- for a good car.
Some body told me that i shoud also check Suzuki Baleno 2004-05.
Can any one suggest me which car should i go for ?

Model of civic below 97 wil b quite old would need a lot of maintainance.
So its better to go for baleno 2004 - 2005

it depends how u drive u can simply check out the market for baleno.infact i consider u to go for city 2000 and above .bro i 2 have civic 97 its expensive to maintain it.if u r in islamabad then buy civic or city in karachi my friend have just purchaed civic 99 totally clean condition for about 475k.u will definitely get car cheap in karachi then from isloo but buy a model 2000 and above .its a friendly advice

u can get a Baleno 04 , 05 in this budget and i think it would be a better choice than buying a car more than ten years old..

Guys if u compare a new 95 civic to a new 05 baleno then i know civic is better but 10 yrs old car driven in pakistan requires a lot of maintenance

actually i have a total budget of 0.5 (M).
Yesterday i have checked two civics(96+97). Owner is willing to sell @ 460k - 490k. Cars are well maintained and look good too.
Is the price ok with 96-97 model for civic. cars are in white color and have isb registration number.

i think u should go for baleno if the price of civic 97 and 2005 baleno r same in ur city bez if civic make prob then its v expansive ...by the way im really shocked to hear that 97 civic and 2005 baleno have same price tag

ya, civic 96-97 model are for about 500k, same is with baleno 2004-05.
baleno looks like (BAIL GAARI), civic is a beautiful car.
i can afford the post purchase mtce of civic. thats why i think i shud go for civic.
or if u guys have any other suggestion within a budget of Rs. 0.5 m. please help

I think buying any car older than 2000 may have problems, u shuld buy BALENO 2004 -onward, as its not better than CIVIC but I think it shuld be better than CIVIC older than 97........My brother's friend have a BALENO 2001 (he bought 7 or 8 months before) and before buying it he also took me to check it. When he come at morning to pick my brother with that car his mood is always good. Before it he had KHYBER but???

He just do work of Rs. 4 or 5000 in it after buying and still he havent take it to any mechanic except tuning and Oil change...

Its my suggestion, see whats suit u......BEST OF LUCK...waise personally I dont prefer BALENO over CIVIC but if CIVIC model is same 2 BALENO......
