Hello Friends,

I need few experienced suggestions before I proceed to some decision. I have two options 1st is Civic Oriel 1.8 (New or 2020 used) and the second is Grande 2020.

Whare my concerns?

I have a family of 5-6 peoples, and I'm itself travel lover of the Northern Area 2 trips each year must whether it is Nathiagali, Naran, And onwards from Chilas to Hunza and other Kashmir sides Karen many other.

If I carry 5 people with luggage in Civic 1.8 Oriel so that suspension and comfort level including ground clearance will justify? Or not!

Secondly, I know Grande ground clearance is good compared to civic but After 2017 Civic looks are 100 times better than Corolla. I need a crystal clear answer.

Civic can take you to the routes mentioned easily.

What about Shogran? Is there ground clearance good enough to go to that place?

Also can you please let me know, with 3 passengers on the back seats with one child and two at the front seats, in this situation, there are any chances that car will hit the ground?

Civic X has been driven till khunjrab, kashmir with families.

It can go any place where cars can go. When fully loaded , every car needs to be driven carefully especially on humps.

Civic can easily go to these places.
I have been to these places many times on my city and it had no problem with full luggage and 4 passengers.My car has been to hunza 3 times.Skardu 2 times and khunjarab 3 times and obviously naran multiple times.So i dont think it would be a problem for 1.8.Btw mine was a 1.3 manual 2010 model.
But in my opinion i would suggest you to go for grande as it has a tougher and more reliable suspension than civic and better ground clearance and i dont think it would let you go off any where.
Rest is your on choice.Both cars can easily go upto khunjarab and both cars are good in their on perspectives.

For northern areas grande is better because of ground clearance and stronger suspension.On motoways civic is better.
