Hi,

I've been following this forum since a couple of months. I'm planning to buy my firsr car. I've a budget of 13 lacs. I've compared different cars and finally shortlisted honda reborn 09/10 and vitz 3rd generation 2011. I know these two cars are of completely different leagues but since these fall under same price bracket, so i think a comparison can be made. Can you guys please suggest which one of these two is a better buy considering overall comfort, safety, maintenance and resale. Thanks!

Im not sure but you wont be able to find a clean honda civic 2010+ for less than 14.

Also for 1.3 million you will only find a beaten up vitz not a clean one.

Comfort: Reborn
Safety: Vitz (Since 2 airbags but you wont find a non accidental one in this price so Reborn it is)
Maintenance: Both are almost equal.
Resale: Both have good resale

Thank you for your response. I'm from Sialkot. Which reborn model do you think can be purchased in 1.3m in good condition? Also, how much do i need to increase my budget if i go for a clean 2011 vitz?

By the way, I just checked the prices for vitz 2011 F1.0 and honda civic 2010 with mileage of 80,000 using pakwheels price estimator and for both the answer was around 1.2m. Not sure though how much accurate that calculator is.

Well i dont know about vits but 80% of civic 8th gen being sold in market has meter reversed. The original low milage car would cost 13.50 to 14.50.

I am talking about islamabads market. No idea.about sialkot.

Vitz 2011 is the egg shape, those are notorious for having knocking issues. Reborn is a highly unpractical car.
As for your comparison.
Comfort= civic
safety= same
maintenance= civic, as local support is available
resale= civic, because anda vitz is not liked by many.
In 13 lacks, you can look into a wagon R, PKDM, or a 2010-2011 toyota passo, more chances of getting clean cars in those
