Honda Civic Reborn 2009 Power Steering Fluid leaking

Hello Everyone,

I just noticed that the Power steering fluid on my Honda Civic Automatic is at very low level almost touching the bottle surface. Went to different mechanics both telling me different bull**** stories like changing the power pump etc.. Along with that I am hearing some sweet noises when accelerating the car but when car gets hot enough the noises can barely be heard so I think these 2 issues are interconnected some how.. not sure.. expert opinion required on these stuff. The other issue is Engine noise is increased last month I poured Total 10W30 in the past i used to use 5WXX Engine Oil.

1. I need to buy Honda Genuine PSF - Where shall I buy? Honda Drive in say they dont sell
2. I need a reliable Honest Honda Mechanic near Gulshan/Jauhar area Karachi
3. Where to Buy Genuine Honda Parts - since Honda drive-in don't sell parts, where should I go to find genuine parts? I need Brake Pads, Wheel Bearing etc too.

I had the same issue in my civic 2005 and this same issue is with civic 2006-13. First I had to change the power steering pump and power steering pipe and later on I had to completely change power steering assembly but still I face issues of oil leakage. The better alternate is to find an electronic power steering (kabli) if you can easily find which will be peace of mind for you.
For Honda genuine parts you can go to Sana Yousuf Motors, Japan Plaza M.A. Jinnah road.

Top up the oil immediately, before the pump die.

Trace the exact location of leakage, and then fix it. Get the engine bay washed properly (I suggest steam wash) and after topping up the oil, you can easily trace the leakage.

Kanghi, pipes, seals could be anything, narrow it down.

Here is the update:
I have poured the PSF today and all the noises are now gone hurray , still the leakage is there.. will go to a mechanic tomorrow Inshallah to get this sorted out..

I am sure it'd only be a minor issue.. like ring or pipe leakage.. lets see...

Change the pipes but keep on the in mind that power pump may go dead after this as pumps have gone weak and with new pipes pressure gets build up resulting in dead pump

I have exactly the same issue. I have put caltex atf in bottle and the humming noise is gone. It is civic prosmatec 2008 model (aka reborn). What did you do to permanently solve this issue as my cars power oil leakage is still there.

any updates on this? slow leak but no has been able to pinpoint the leak. So far 3 mechanics, Honda Gateway, multiple visits about 15K spent; seals replaced; still leak is there. Has anyone figured out where the problem could be other than the seals?
