Honda Civic Reborn heats up in Traffic

Car temperature ️ gauge overheating sign. At Normal temperature it shows 9 out of 20 points whereas, in traffic, when car slows down, temperature gauge raises to 13-14 points. I checked fan wasn't working, until i turned on AC, temp reduced to 9 points. Got radiator serviced recently.

brother your radiator fan is not working automatically. please get it verified. probably its fuse for auto restart is malfunctioning and fan is fine since you said that it works with AC.

No check light Bro. Radiator fan turns ON properly with intervals when AC is ON. But it doesn't work without AC even temperature gauge crosses half.

Fans works on its intervals with AC turned On, but it doesn't turn on automatically without AC.

so some issue with the circuit/fuse. probably some wire is damaged. which city r u in? just get it checked from a good electrician and it should be fine.

also pour in orignal honda type 2 coolant. and ensure that your thermostat valve is working properly.

Check the radiator fan relay. And be sure radiator fan is getting input from radiator fan relay.
Second hook up the scanner to see ECT is reading right temperature or not.

Same issue in my brother's reborn. Did you find any solution? We have tried many things and found that radiator fan (without AC turned on) works on its own marzi. Sometimes it does and when it does, the car's temp remains normal (i.e. Just below half) and when it doesn't turn on even when the temp is rising, the car over heats. Have to turn on AC to get car temp back in normal range. Usually it happens in a crowded traffic and so far we haven't found any solution. Please share if you have found any solution to it

Kindly check there is a fan control sensor in the bottom of the radiator.

it might get dirty or faulty. please check your problem will be resolved Insha Allah.

Check fan control sensor under radiator. My fan control sensor was faulty, i changed and issue resolved after that. Got kabli piece with kit for Rs. 900/-

Aoa Bro! Same was the issue. Control sensor under radiator was faulty, i replaced that with locally available kabli one for Rs. 900, and issued resolved.
