I hope you are doing good.

I am interested in buying a new car right or slightly used. Is 2020 CIVIC RS Turbo recommended or 2020 model also have some known issues ?

As far as I know, the issues were resolved in the 2019 facelift but because of the bad reputation of the turbo badge of Honda, the resale has been affected

It's a fairly new model so don't expect many reviews. I have used mine for around 3500km, Alhamdulillah no issues so far. I do feel the AC is not at par compared to my previous civic 9th gen.

Buy it and you wont regret it. I am having 2017 Turbo without a single issue .

It's a good question. Am also thinking of upgrading from Oriel but only one thing is holding me back, the resale factor (sorry for being a typical Pakistani and talking about resale before buying). Am interested that whether RS will enjoy same resale as older Civic X counter parts, will be a bit slow to sell or will be an hard to sell it off by the time next gen civic comes in a couple of years time.

Don’t go for turbo if you expect this new Fake Rs model to be more superior to the pre facelift turbo it’s the same car except for some aesthetics and an overly priced car I Speak of from my experience, I’ve got the 2019 Rs drove it for around 18k km well my car is tuned and I drive on high octane only but I’ve faced no issues yet but a friend of mine bought rs after me and his abs brake unit failed when his car was only driven around 2000 km and now I am also experiencing issue in my driving side outer axle but it could be bcoz my car is on lowering springs and 18 inch rim and low profile tyres

Hope you are well.
I was curious if you bought the car and wanted to know your feedback.

I am thinking to buy one and was concerned over the issues flagged in previous model of 1.5 Turbo. Heard they have resolved it and wanted to have a first hand user experience.

Also can we use regular fuel or hioctance is recommended?

Will appreciate the response.

All Turbo whether new or 2016 onwards run fine on regular.

No issue of petrol on old or new models as software is upgraded .

I qould advise you to go for Turbo and you won't regret it.

Anyone has used blow off valve on civic turbo. Hows the experience? Is it recommended
