I have rs turbo 2020, recently got unichipped from Islamabad, the throttle response is really good, the only thing that is disturbing is weird fuel average. Weird because its never constant. So I felt this issue the same day and informed them. They said it happens to 2 out 100 turbos we do, Now what you have to do is get your fuel to literally 0 and then fill it up and this would be settled. They asked to get rid off the fuel completely but I filled up again while it was showing range of 10 and its same, no changes.
The average pattern goes like this,
It starts from 6 or 6.5 as you fuel up and reset meter, once you drive it increases towards 9 with drive of 10-15 minutes at least. The main thing is if I am sitting in car and its parked with ac on it will drop the average for example within 10 minutes average will go from 9.0 to 7.0. And it will not stop going down I have been to 5.0 while sitting with on ac in static position.
I actually don't mind if it gives me average of 7-8 but this constant change is very irritating. Earlier it used to remain between 9-10 in city and 12-13 with heavy foot. I understand the point with more power obviously it will consume more, however unichip claims to increase the average but that was not the point I got it chipped for.
Now if someone has experience of unichip please get InTouch, I would like to hear your side of story.
Also I have heard of K-tuner. Is that the same thing? Increase HP & Torque? Anyone having experience of that please respond.
I use High Octane from F11 Attock, today got filled up from PSO F-7 just so maybe their quality is better and it helps to settle the issue.
I don't have much technical knowledge so please ignore if something above doesn't make sense.
