Honda Civic Turbo 2016 worth buying?

I wish you all good health. I have been looking for car in budget 40 lakhs. And have been waiting for Grande booking. Delivery time is 7 months which is not ideal.

So while looking at used car market for another option, I noticed civic turbo 2016 models available in 33-34 lakh price range.

If I remember correctly this same model had knock issues and was discontinued before being re-released with some modifications for our fuel.

So if I were to buy a 2016 model Civic Turbo, is it advisable or will I face fuel or knocking problems? I want to drive on regular fuel with peace of mind. I am interested in the car for its stock performance at given price point. Kindly advise...

Any civicX till facelift is a bad idea to purchase. The car was like a beta version of an application, plethora of issues. After facelift, its a much better choice

There are literally 2 issues, both are easily identifiable. The AC evaporator and the steering.

Sir g before facelift, build issues were also there.. rust, horrible weld joints and poor interior fittings as well. To me me corolla is a better option prior to facelift and i m very hopeful atlas will launch 11th gen with similar quality and the. After 2-3 years if launch it will be a proper car

You can use regular with out any issue as it was due to poor fuel . With software update, this issue was addressed in 2017.

Buy car with service history

Better to take someone who owns it.

Sir g used main museebat hi rehti hai. Specially when once is spending so much i would anyday take a facelift 10th gen only. Corolla is just so safe regardless of year. I can be wrong but till 2019 FL, x is a big NO for me

I bought one back in June, 50k driven
Very happy with it, power is great, runs fine on normal fuel, Turbo cant be compared to CIvic 1.8 or grande,
Common issues are steering rack and ac evaporator
