Honda Civic Turbo IVTEC and RS owners...!

Hi all, so there are mixed reviews about Honda civic turbo IVTEC and RS, I would like to know from someone who has kept them both. I have few basic questions, would appreciate answers and reviews from you guys, please try to answer in simple and in layman language.

1- Is it true all Turbo's of 2016-17 have issues?

2- Face uplift turbo of 2019 onwards is issues free?

3- Turbo RS cause no issues with normal petrol or again it's for HI octane only?

4- If only HI octane then which company?

5- Is it good to get turbo uni-chipped, tuned etc.? Good in a way it will not effect engine life etc.

6- Turbo RS vs MarkX300P (2005), your pick and why?

7- Finally Turbo RS costs around 5 million, is it worth it?

I had rs and now have ivtec oriel. I sold for some personal reasons . Yes rs is almost trouble free on regular hobc from any pump. I used vpower regularly for the time i kept it. The drive is very nice but currently since booking were completely closed, people are asking for insane prices. Performance difference is not worth the difference that becomes after hilarious amount of premium. 5 million Plus for a dying shape makes no sense now. Premium will take it well over 5m then add tyres, registration and additional 1k tax if u find some 0 meter car

If bookings are available only then RS makes sense to some enthusiast else no since prices are out of control. Also used is a very risky fare in turbo. Sales were low and neat used are rare.

To clarify u i sold rs 9k driven rs for 4875k 2020, and since i had an oriel booked i took that for personal use. I saw the market trend and took the money before it looses everything:) now let me tell u difference is there but not worth the money i saved.

With current Pakistani economy, it makes no sense to pay million over 2 seconds gap. Unichip mapping is available for oriel as well. I haven’t done that since these face-lifted oriels dont drive like initial laggy oriels somehow.

Any civicX before facelift is not worth buying. Steering, ac issues were almost in every car. New is new anyday. Atlas took 3 years to resolve the issues

You can buy 2016-2017 with service history. The issues were of steering rack , AC evaporator . Most of them were replaced free of cost by company. You can see from service history of car.

Most of face-lift are trouble free with few cases only.

Regular fuel is easily used without any issue but Hioctane gives more pleasure

If you want to get civic then get Turbo to enjoy.

I would wait for 2022 for booking to open but expect price to touch 5Mil

buy 2016-17 maintained low mileage car around 37 -38 lacs.
