People who know have no issues with same shape... worldwide there are multiple variants of car and Pakistan is not the only one. Secondly Grande enjoys seriously good resale value... Even prefacelift goes on a very good value. I was always a fan of civic due to its finishing. But this pkdm car is bot upto mark...paint quality and its orange peel..steering issues..horrible interior plastic... Soorat to hai seerat nhn lagtii..btw Grande Fl can be identified frok atleast 20 meters distance easily and if its from front..only someone blind can mix it with other variants

The biggest turnoff about Grande is same shell different grades. I mean wtf? If aam payin 4Mil, heck I wanna stand out man. Can't be a Kunta Kinte driving the same car which is being driven by the entire cotton plantation.

here you people debating over Corolla Vs Civic, but all of you just forgot the main drawback of civic, poorest quality from atlas honda makes it prone to warranty claims.
i myself am owner of civic drove it for almost 2 years and in between went to honda like 7-8 times just for warranty claims. i remember going to honda every month and even 2 times a month due to different issues in car.
out of most these things were faulty some replaced/repaired under warranty.
1. Steering rack (2) times
2. Steering rack greased one time
3.DvD Player
4.Ac Coil
5.Battery's terminal changed 2 times but not under warranty
6. When u wash ur car Windows wont roll up speedy and sometimes failed completely and u have to help the window by hand but they refused to claim under warranty and it was left un repaired

last time i the moment came which almost made me to hate my car is sudden AC Gas Leakage.
that too in july's scorching heat and it was diagnosed with Faulty AC COIL.
and they took about 10 days to get that part and between that was Eid holidays aswell now you guys can understand how one could feel. well Alhamdolillah i had another car my Gli At home so i start using this and parke civic and after 10 days coil was installed but my heart and i took gli from my parents and gave my civic to my parents and now is being used by driver because she deserved it
long story short. there are alot of people like me who choosed civic over grande and eneded up like this just due to honda's poor quality control and that's where toyota takes the lead with almost zero warranty claims.

No point in arguing over it guys. Every one has their own preferences as to what things they like in a car and how they rank them.

For people saying XLi/Grande look alike, yes it is a valid argument. But so does a Mercedes C class, E class and S class. In fact you can hardly differentiate between the C and E on the road. And E and S from the back. And these are DIFFERENT models! Not even different trims/engines within the same class!

Same applies to BMW (5, 7) and newer Lexus models these days.

For me personally, if I am spending money and buying a car for myself then the most important factor for me would be the how the interior looks because that’s where I would actually be spending most of my time. Unless its a Ferrari that one can enjoy looking at while parked.

Similarly, if you care more about what “others” think, and you pass off to them as an XLi owner while you have bought a Grande, then I would recommend keeping Corolla brochures handy to explain it to them if what “others” think bother you that much.
