since you own both of them, then its pretty easy for you to get a measuring tape and go note down the readings.
My findings are based on personal experience, not figures.
As for the high seats, these are the requirements of today, people with weak knees or back problems can't use a civic, because the seats are so low, its very difficult to get out of. Yes, certainly the civic has better dynamics and better road grip, but the corolla has ample of those things till where daily usage of a sedan is concerned.

If thats the only wow factor you find in an SUV, i can't comment further, PS hilux and surfs don't have high seats, does that mean they lack the wow factor.
