Well! rpms at 120km/h ....... i dont actually remember last time i did 120 km/h...sign of getting old ........

on motorway or in city? on CNG or on petrol ? doing constant speed of 120 or just speeding up to 120 i.e. 0-120 quickly? Just thought these factors might affect the rpms...what to do you think??

o but i can check tomorrow monring...hv to go for flag raising ceremony at 730..thats the only time i think government officials think of Pakistan ... sooo if roads are empty ..being sunday and all...i can try doing it on mall road or jail road and let you know on both petrol and CNG...

o ookay...so i tried the 120 KM today... it was an slightly inclined road ..the road in front of airport that goes towards Phase VII ... on petrol .. with AC ..... didnt have long patch to do 120 as there were speed humps...sooooo in that span...i got ... 3400 RPMs .

is it the sorta figure you are looking for ? what RPMS do you get ? i assume, if its a levelled road, RPMs will decrease as less power to be exerted by the engine.....

however!!! I beg to differ on the point that inclind road wouldnt have any effect on rpms...... may be I am wrong...but I always thought that the more pulling power engine is producing the higher the rpms (the no. of times the piston moves - isnt it how rpm is counted?) ....

that is why when you start from zero and push your accelertor hard...ur rpms go waaaaaaay high to reach 100 or so...but if you are cruising on motorway ...say at 10o km/h...and you want to accelerate upto 120..you would have to pull less......

this was my understanding ........feel free to correct me if i have got the concept wrong...

if our noticed rpms are correct ....it means that while doing 120 in 5th gear....honda's VTEC is not even kicking in .... as i think it gets kick in over 4000 rpm (will confirm exact rpms tomorrow)... thats when u hear the extra loud (sexy) sound from honda engine.....so basically!!! if we keep it in 4th gear...get the VTEC kicked in at 120 mph.....we can chieve higher speed way faster than normal way....(just stating the obvious)

Well! I was being greedy aaaaaand as I wasn't in any hurry to sell the car.Soooooooo when I got good offer, I requested the buyer to wait for some time...hoooooooping....I will get a better offer .......

but but but....it went downhill since and now even the highest bidder has found a car .. ...... think I should advertise in the national paper ...maybe will get something this car deserves...

moral of the story: Shouldnt be greedy!!

I dont know much about pakistani car market, but i honestly believe from my limited recent experience that this car deserves more.

You have to see it to appreciate. Thats why I was suggesting you come and have a look at it. Pictures arent doing it justice. You know where my office is now, I wont be in tomorrow, not unless you want to check the car at home. Otherwise, on friday come to office and see it...its only gonna cost you a little trip :)... This I can say for sure that after seeing it, you will think twice before buying any other car ...and you might even increase your offer
