Sad as I am, I have to accept the fact that I am up for sale and I have to find a new home for myself where I will be loved and cared for like I am used to now.... So here is my story in my own words...hope someone out there will understand my pain and help me find my destination...

I was born in July 2005, when I opened my eyes, first thing I heard was...wow...its such a gorgeous looking "Honda Civic VTI Oriel" ... I am one of those who like to be controlled....i.e. I am "Manual" not automatic..so now you know why I am sad..I am totally lost if I dont have a loving hand holding me by my finger....my skin color is "charcol grey pearl" aaaand my birth certificate is "registered in Lahore" as well.

My first owner and his family took me home and as my present, they got me a "GSM Based Tracker", so I dont get lost...aparently, desirable as I am, there are bad people out there I should be protected from...so nice to have a way to stay in touch with me from anywhere in the world.

I was young and enjoying running around the streets of Lahore aimlessly...my owner considering the fact that I am alwayss running around wasting money..decided to get me "CNG" ....thus, I can roam around without spending too much money...

Time flies....my first owner fell in love with some other babe and decided to dump me...I was sad...but ..it happenedd for a good reason since I found a new lovingn and caring family....they took care of me so well that I forgot my first owner...I started getting regular visit to beauty parlor to get my skin washed and massaged....My skin started glowing with freshness...I became a real headd turner.....

My new owner also increased my monthly budget and I stopped using CNG...I got to rest alot at home since I have two other cars living with me... I was happy that I dont have to wake up and go to work every monring...or in bad weather...

I was taken for walks carefully..keeping me away from those street boys called rikshaws and vans....I got new wheels and battery...my life was perfect....

no matter how hard my family tried to keep me protected from the evil motorbikes... I did get my curves (bumpers) little scratches due to these motorbikes ....and one bad day .. a motorbike jumped and forcefully kissed me on my front left cheek (front fender)....I tried to resist , but in doing so I got some ugly scratches there.....My owner wanted to get me plastic surgery..however, experts suggested leaving those ugly
scratches on me as it just increases my beauty ...so now I have a wee bump on my front cheek....

apart from that, I am just like the day I was born..........

One gloomy day..president of the country we live in . decided to take share in my monthly expenditure...and petrol prices were increased...me and my owner's family decided that its time i use that CNG that was given to me by my ex-owner...so now I run around on CNG ...but hey! I get over 110 KM in a tank of gas...thats economical ..no??

anyways!!! my owner now wants to get a jeep...he has his reasons...its his childhood dream...and also he feels that with his job and stuff...its difficut to take care of me wheneverr he takes me to work in city...I understand all this...and I am not mad at him...all I want and hope is that I find a good family to stay with..a family that will accept me the way I am and will enjoy their lives with me...if you are out there...pick up the phone and call Dr. Ahmad...he will be happy to hear from you...

Okay...so that was the letter from the car herself....lemme rephrase it in language we all understand..

Car for sale..

Honda Civic VTI ORiel....Manual...July 2005 ...Charcol Grey Pearl color...GSM tracker....Lahore Registered..102700 KMs....CNG installed

• Its a nice clean car
• original paint
• no accident..apart from a motorbike hitting the left side front fender and leaving a dent there...got dry denting done...but there are scratches and a wee bump in the left front door and fender...doeant look bad though!!(see picture below) .....
• passenger side rear view mirror got damaged and its control functionality is limited because of it..
• Bumper has scracthes due to biker boys...
• looks like new
• has a CD player and amplifier..
• AC works fine
• Has CNG installed...CNG was never used...however, I got it tuned on CNG last month...it was initially giving 90 KM on one tank of GAs ..however, the mechanic, further reduced its RPMS on CNG and now it is doing over 110 KM in a tank (500 Ruppes - new CNG prices)...however, doing so has reduced the pick of car...but its not a major thing...the mechanic is 1 minute walk from my house so can get the CNG tuned again if you want performance and dont care about fuel consumption..
• It drives fine...
• the CNG cylinder is not fixed in the body so it sort of makes noises if you go on bouncy roads...the CNG guy suggested fixing it by screwing in the body ...like others have done..but I didnt want to spooil it...so instead, have got a wood piece stuck under the cylinder...which stops it from moving..
• O once, I had to change its left tail light..as i reversed into a pole...but have put original light...
• There is a wee bump(Scratch) in the rear left side panel..hardly noticeable...see pictures below...It was done by previous owner...so dunno what happened here..but as i said..its not noticeable...
• I have its complete documents...
• I got its timing belt changed as well...
• in short its in perfect state...no work needed on it...ready to drive ......

To be honest, I dont know how much to ask for her....I think, best thing is you come and check it yourself...make me an offer .....at the end of few days...i will sell it to the highest bidder..

(p.s. I can consider swapping it with SURF ..within its price range though!!)

( I have tried to be as honest as I can listing car specs etc....I dont really like when buyers come and they try to find faults in car to get the price reduced...as mentioned above, if you like the car...just make an offer..if its the highest,,..you will get it.......)

Well! from my experience of buying cars....the guy will advertise it as 100% genuine ...but when you will go to see it...it would have more damage than zardari's brain...<o:p></o:p>

i remember when i bought this car...for 2 weeks, i visited every dealer in Lahore...visited more than 20 private advertisers ....and on one occasion, there was this guy selling honda who claimed his car is non accidental, not even a single panel touched.....but when I went there, with my friend who has know how of cars...it turned out that the whole car was painted and had major accidental damage that was repaired....<o:p></o:p>

After I confronted the seller about his false claim ...causing me to waste my time coming there...without even a hint of shame he said.."its for the buyer to figure out" ..<o:p></o:p>

but but but...thats not my beetle.....its 1200cc one...of a guy who lives in H block ..I have seen this car as well...nice interior as well...

mine is 1500cc one...and is sitting on 17" chrome rims...and ofcourse is the best one .. actually i think his interior and paint job is really good...mine is over 3 years old and is getting neglected due to me not giving her enough time started ist restoration with great enthusiasm..even for an original radio to fit in beetle..travelled miles and miles...but then ..like most pakistanis, me got busy in queuing at CNG stations

I like to believe that this guy copied my beetle ....as I go to H block market every other day to the DVD store next to his flat/shop...(eh! things we like to believe )

Well! rpms at 120km/h ....... i dont actually remember last time i did 120 km/h...sign of getting old ........

on motorway or in city? on CNG or on petrol ? doing constant speed of 120 or just speeding up to 120 i.e. 0-120 quickly? Just thought these factors might affect the rpms...what to do you think??

o but i can check tomorrow monring...hv to go for flag raising ceremony at 730..thats the only time i think government officials think of Pakistan ... sooo if roads are empty ..being sunday and all...i can try doing it on mall road or jail road and let you know on both petrol and CNG...

about the demand...I honestly am super confused as what to ask for it...I know thats a logical question everyone will ask me/and has been asking me...but when i did market research...I got even more confused...

see..on pakwheels...people have demanded anything between 1050000 to 1175000...and some even more ...which I think are bit unrealistic..
so i went to car dealers ...on jail road...on peco road(maulana shaukat ali khan road to be exact i think) ....and shadman car market....and inquired about the prices of similar hondas parked at the garage for sale....and again....it was in range of 1100000 to 1150000....

i personally bought it for 1125000 couple of years back from one of the dealers in DHA ....he was asking for more but then after haggling got it down to the price i mentioned above....Soem peopel say that prices are gone up...some say that the prices are goen down...this leaves me totally lost in what to demand or even to set as base price to even consider the offers...

So not to sound like an unrealistic person...i decided to make DEMAND = HIGHEST OFFER.....I will gather the offers for few days (as much as i get) ...and then will sell it to the highest bidder...
