Honda fit 2014 model (base grade). I’ve been having issues with the AC since last summer. Do all have the issue. Lets discuss

Last summer i had issue with my AC. Lost the cooling but the air flow was still fine. I got it fixed. Apparently i lost the gas due to heat and had a leak in the AC evaporator. After that it worked fine for the remaining summers. But, again, this summer the cooling during peak heat deteriorated- works fine during evening and night. Plus when the car is not moving cooling deteriorates in evening too.
Please let me know if this is common with every fit or mine is special.

any Maintenance history you have since purchase.

The Hybrid vehicles have electric ac compressors. All such electric compressor need a signal from ECU from primary 12 VDC battery to engage / disengage compressor.

Get your vehicle scanned and pull the error codes. Take preventive measures accordingly.

It may not be an issue in vehicles with replaced / new 12 V primary battery.
