Ok people no replies.
So the update is that I ended up selling my Civic for less than expected (< 1,300k) I thought it would fetch more but maybe it is the beige / gold colour.
And I have found a Fit GP5 for slight less than expected (< 1,750k) which helps.
After going through the forum, I think I can expect the following from this car. I thought I would jot it down so maybe it will help others with the same questions.
- Mileage around 18-20 kmpl in city driving.
- Space more or less same as Honda City current model. Less than Civic of course. Boot space less than both if you will have back seat passengers.
- Ride quality in between Civic and City (comfort wise). Will report after actual experience.
- General spares are available, as some parts shared with Vezel, City and Civic. For other uncommon parts it will be good to know someone who imports cars / car parts. Service centers, I will know once I get the car.
- Maintenance cost, yet to find out, but expecting it to be higher than City or Civic. Let us see.
One thing I not sure about, is whether the GP5 has a spare wheel (normal or reduced size), or just a tire repair kit. That is one concern since this is a family car and can't afford to have people stuck in the middle of nowhere with no spare. Repair kits are a question mark.
Let us see when my car arrives. Maybe I will keep a reduced size spare in the boot.
