My honda fit hybrid gp5 just started giving a check engine light. What could be the reason and will it br solved via card adjustments?

Hello,

Got it checkec its P0139 O2 sensor error. The hybrid shop guy resolved it and said if it comes again i will need to change the sensor.

What do you suggest the possible reason and how to solve it?

So the light has come back again.

Hybrid shop guy is saying its 02 sensor needs replacement. I was told that this would cost 45K, is it that much?

Can you tell me the authorised vendor for this part? Appreciate your support!

I wanted to take the car for checkup And today i checked in the morning that the check engine light is off, i drove around 30 kms but still off. What do you think coulf be the issue?
Also do you suggest any tune ups? Its been 20k since i bought the car.

Mostly its simply means you need to clean the cat.
This happend with my Mira ,engine check light turns on and off.

Gets the convertor cleaned and its solved my problem.

If there is any problem with sensor then the check light will turn on permanently.

Noadays insted of improving petrol quantity to increase RON Pakistani cheap companis started adding too much magnesium bassed additive in petrol .Which blocks the converter very soon.

Previously i need to get my cars cat cleaned after every 60-70thousand Kms. This year i needed to get my cars converter cleand after just 20thousand Kms and this time it was full of rusty dust simply cannot describe how much dut was there in it.

These companies are destroying pakistani peoples hard earnd money cars engine.

So please get your converter cleaned from any good workshop having good reputation before anything

Got the cat converter cleaned, it was clogged. And apparently the plugs had also burned out as well. This is strange since i only ran 10K on these plugs and honda has recommended 30K on plugs with severe condition.

What do you think the reason could be? I got cat serviced from Khan Motors Phase 2 Ext near axact roundabout. Khan motors guy said, due to cat blockage the engine was overworking and plugs were misfiring.

I use high octane all through out.

yes got the ECU scan done, all green. But i was a bit apprehensive on the plug issue. Why did that happen?

Oh alright, now the CAT is sorted and checked, its working fine. Why do you think the plugs misfired? What could the possible reason?

I check them every 3K and last time they were checked at 7K and they were fine.
