Honda Grace 2015 Fuel Economy

Hey Pakwheelers,

I recently purchased Honda Grace 2015 model only 21k KM driven, the condition is excellent and the grade is 4.5 BB. The issue I am facing is the fuel average im getting is 9.8KM/L, can anyone help me out with why is this the case I have just driven the car 300 KMS since purchase and the highest I reached was 70 KMs/hr. Im using havoline 0W20D engine oil. Can anyone guide me little bit or mention a suitable mechanic in clifton defense area.

Congrats.. did you verify auction sheet? Maybe its a high mileage car which might lead to chocked cat con, worn out plugs or clogged fuel injectors. Oil is ok just get these things checked and also air filter.

i have honda fit 2015 and i also had its 2012 model. what i have noticed till now is that these honda hybrids give good average at the speed of 90-110 kph. Below that i never ever experienced a good average.

its giving me 20.3 km/l. My daily trip with this car is from bahria town to shahrah e faisal karachi.

i drive this car on the above route only and sometimes i take it to hyd as well so mostly its running on longer trips.

No oil change as i am second owner. Millage is 22k kms. Max speed 60 70 as you know traffic is very bad and roads are broken in karachi

yeah traffic is really bad. well i will suggest you to get its hybrid battery checked. also check its air filter. change its oil and use 0w-20 grade of whichever brand you like but my preference is shell's 0w-20. Is the mileage genuine? did you match it with auction sheet?

if everything is ok then the case that i discussed above could be the issue. do you drive the car with soft foot?

It is normal for a hybrid to have high idle rpm like 1200
