Honda Insight HMMF warning / error

I have Honda Insight 2012. Recently it started giving me this HMMF error which meant your HMMF maintenance is close. I had my gear oil changed (merely after 16-17k mileage of run). The error didn't stop and now it is showing me this attached error.

I also read somewhere that Honda Insight gives this error after every 40k and I am currently nearing 120k if this is because of it, I would like to confirm that as well.

How can I remove this error and make sure car doesn't have any other issue? Is there anyway to get red of this error if it is only related to gear oil change or I need to have something else checked as well?

Its a service reminder,if no error lights are on,all you need to do is to reset service reminder
try this
Press and hold the trip button
Turn the ignition key to the "on" position.
Wait for the "maintenance required" light to turn off (about 10 seconds).
Turn the ignition key to the "lock" position.
Turn the ignition key back to the "on" position
release trip button

Previously clicking on up / down arrows from steering wheel would remove this error now it doesn't and an exclamation mark remains in speed console.

I will follow the steps you mentioned and then update.
