A.S.A Brothers, i have recently purchased a k24a3 engine for my car, was searching for k20a type R ones but the prices for those are so unreal that spending half the amount of that on k24a2/3 would get you more power, the engine is on its way and looks very clean MA, baki when it comes ill be swapping it, in the car IA. I want to know what internals i have to change for it to rev till 8500rpm? i dont want fancy power just want at least 220whp and revs that can reach upto 8500 rpm easily.
The Car is an original Honda Accord cl7 Euro R, everything in it is oem stock euro r except the engine and unfortunately i don't have the k20a cams, valve springs, oil pump of the old engine.
currently i have a VTC 50degree cam gear, RBC cylinder head with the valves only laying around.
One noob question for the experts, Can i fit k24a3 camshaft/valve spring and its retainers on RBC cylinder head along with the VTC 50degree with k24a3 bottom end ? will this strange frankenstein build work? if yes then what increase can i expect?
Please advise what should I do with the parts I already have can I reuse them into my build and to make it at least 220whp with revs that can easily reach 8500rpm.What's the most important thing i need to upgrade? the cams of k24a3 or an oil pump or both? iv heard k24a2/3 stock block can easily handle 9k rpm is it true has anyone tried?
