Honda N One Tourer fuel average

Hello. I recently purchased a honda N one premium tourer. I drove it around for about 250kms and noted its average (I did it by getting the tank filled to max after 250 kms and noting how many liters were used, not by noting the fuel average shown by the car) To say the least Im dissappointed. It came out to be 13.67 km/l. I heard alot about this cars fuel average to be around 17-18 km/l atleast with AC. I have a light foot, I drive between 2-2.5k rpm. What might be wrong here?

Well the most efficient 660c hatch 'Mira' is gettin 12-15km/l if you read through the owner discussions. Only a few get the magic 18km/l so I woulnd't be as disappointed as you seem to be.

What is your commute route? average speed?

What was the average shown by the car?

Did you use the same pump when re-fueling?

Did the pump wala filled the petrol to full manually or through pump sensor?

Sometimes there can be a difference of how much fuel is "full". So I use to have it filled manually until I can see the petrol and then bumping the car (alto vxr) a couple of times to have the petroll roll into pipes. Not sure same applies with JDMs.

Completing first 500 km on JDM right now and satisfied with the fuel average (Honda N-WGN).

Average speed for my route is around 50 KMH and fuel avg shown by car is 22KML. For a couple of days average speed was 20 KMH and average consumption shown was 16 KML.

Am using PSO hi octane (atlron plus hsd)
