Honda Pakistan on survey to launch Brio-Jazz & City Sport

So the tug of war is between Brio and Jazz/Fit.

Jazz/Fit can cater to the below-City market. If people can afford a 2010 model vitz for 1.1-1.2million then a brand new Jazz/Fit for that price with a few intelligent add-ons should be selling like hot cakes.

It has to be economical as well as good looking. An ecu tuned for high fuel economy alongwith a little eye candy such as halogen projector headlamps, and led tail lights etc should be eye catching stuff for the potential buyer.

Apart from domestic buyers, taxi-cab companies, offices *** corporate cars, rent-a-car companies etc would def. like to buy a compact fuel efficient honda

I think brio with even price tag of 10 lack will attract people sine people in pakistan consider honda as a luxury brand, and it will be better than Cultus which is now cost 10 Lack.

I mean 10 lack is high price but people are buying cultus in same price than why not Honda Brio

Honda Cars - Brio, Jazz are hot sellers with I-Vtec Engine. With fine technology of Honda, you can expect real wonders from these cars

I feel Atlast has accepted their Civic cannot stand alone, City has low sales, They need another car for the Pakistani market now.

Atlas is having quite healthy market share.They owns 1.8 market and some small share of 1.3 market

Brio will be launched in 1.2L variant. May be equipped with an iDSi engine instead of a Vtec. It will be no way near to 1 million price tag. And very few people will buy 1.2L small car even if it will be more fuel efficient compared to cultus, due to psychological impact and change in tax slab.

To my thots only one would be coming, Which one is the real question, If its Fit, it would be priced somewhere btwn Swift and City, People would prefer City over it because of the boot etc.

Brio on the other hand looks like a win win car, Since Altos going out, Coures dead, Theres no car btwn Mehran and Cultus. Brio could lead the segment, Since coure was priced idioticaly, i fear Brios prices higher then Coure, But if the price is btwn Cultus and Mehran the car can take over sales of Alto. Which i think is alot.

Or else Alto (or the car that replaces Alto) and Brio can be rivals.

But on a serius note, Please dont compare the Brio to Swift or Cultus,

Guys Conclusion of this Survey from Honda Pakistan I think Brio with 1000 CC engine and below 10 Lack will give people some more options since ALto is around 8 Lack with zero facility and Cultus is also obsolete. Any real news or not?

It was 2002 when i once noticed alot of people gathered around a car in jinnah super islamabad , the car was de-badge , and yes it was the honda jazz!!!, company representative asked me to identify the car which i did at once.... for this they gave me a honda year book dairy and honda printed bottle.... with a wise thought " Sir we are launching this car next month and for that we are conducting a public survey on it " its over a decade now that they are still conducting these public displays and surveys !!! hope they launch it this time!!!!

i doubt they launch these car in near future, as honda already seems late in lauching of new civic and facelift city

I agree because Atlas has already dragged Reborn for 6 years now. They also been having late delivery problems.

But I think launching of City Sports is a remote possibility. And for the other two small cars price factor shall be the key for capturing market share from others.
