May be we can go to some good mechanic for this issue...Or may be we can complain to our dealer??? I like pridor...but i am very much disappointed by the quality of honda bikes in pakistan. Their prices are boosting but inversely their quality is falling down...which is really disappointing.

but be thankful. its quality is still much much better as compared to the Chinese counterparts. with regards to going to the dealer, its of NO use...so just wait and hope things get better, or look for some other remedy by taking guidance from here and there.

OK lets hope for the best...But as far as chinese bikes are concerned, I think they dont even worth comparing with japanese technology. But its time in pakistan that we are comparing japanese technology with chinese.

Did my first oil change at 317 km...Used Caltex Havoline 20w50. How is it?????

317 km :S its actually in the middle of nowhere it shoud have either been 250 or 500....but anyways, now i recommend u to change it again at 600 and then finally at 1000. in these initial changes, all oils are good enough. once we cross 1000, then we can think about which oil to stick with from there onwards

this is what the atlas site says....now MAYBE the 1.5 liter reserve is in addition to the 9.7 liters tank.....this is the only logical explanation to the amount of fuel the pump guys put in our bikes

That Petrol Pump owner called me again. He was saying that he checked its tank capacity on some other pridor. It's around 12L.

no need of these sudden oil changes,first oil change should be at 300-500kms and second at 1000 and after that every 1000kms.i also own a pridor and changed its first oil at 498kms and second at 1450kms.

That's totally your choice sir. This is my fifth zero meter bike and all of them I have kept the same way before and they turned out to be superb on fuel and engine life. Your and our schedule differs by only one extra oil change before 500 km, rest it's the same. And if you changed your oil at 1450, well that's your fault and a wrong thing to do, you accept or don't, that's your own choice

The purpose of engine break in is the removal of extra metal splinters which wear off as a result of sealing of rings as well as piston in combustion chamber..All extra metal which is unwanted wears of..+/- allowable precision limit..Plus the bike also operates hotter than its optimum running temperature during break in due to friction b/w new parts.

Your oil change at 317 is absolutely fine..During engine break in..It is recommended to drain oil in intervals of 500 Kms..Draining the stock oil that comes with the bike should be earlier(what you already did)..Now you need to do next 2 oil changes after 500Kms..after that 1000..That is what is the science behind small drain intervals during break in

317---817--1317---then 1000 kms and so on.

Changed the oil at 500. next on 1000 and then 1000 everytime. way to go
bike has crossed 600 kilometers mark. reserve is still not on

i dont know why are u making such a big fuss about it. first oil change at 250, second at 500 and then at 1000....and then every 1000. now how it is different than first oil change at 300, then 600 and then 1000....and then every 1000 ?? he forgot to change the oil at 250, crossed 300 so we told him to get it changed at 600 now instead of 500 cause 500 would have been too close. and then eventually at 1000 and then same like other, after every 1000. if u talk about manual, please change ur oil after every 2000 kilometers after u cross 1000 km mark. would u do it ? we all know whats the aim of changing the oil in the initial running bro. what i fail to get it is whats that HUGE a difference between

250 - 500 - 1000.....and after that every 1000

nowhere in the book it says that u change the second and third oil at 500km each

Whenever i buy a bike i changed the first oil at 600 and second at 1000kms. From the day first the performance of the bike is the same, so nothing to be worried about oil change but between first 0-1000kms 2 oil change are highly recommended.

Who is saying about making a fuss??(infact its other way around)I have my right to relay my opinion.Please abstain from reactive comments..I was just guiding that person.You can do so as you please..

.The reason is complete removal of metal particles during break in. Infact oil looses its shear stability earlier in breakin due to high engine temperature .The 3 oil changes ensure complete removal of particles.
