AHL Unveils New Pridor 100cc Motorcycle
On November 3, Atlas Honda Ltd. (AHL), which produces and markets motorcycles in Pakistan, held a line-off ceremony for its new Pridor motorcycle at its SKP plant in Lahore. The model?s modern design drew enthusiasm from participants in the test-ride event held on the same day.
The Pridor was developed by Honda R&D (India) Private Ltd. (HRID) and Honda R&D Southeast Asia Co., Ltd. (HRST) and is the first locally developed model for AHL. The company gave the new motorcycle a 100cc engine, which has an established popularity in Pakistan, and new exterior styling. AHL is targeting sales of 40,000 units in 90 Ki.
Some 700 people?480 from dealers, 75 from suppliers, and 145 from the Atlas Group?attended the ceremony. Also in attendance were COO for Motorcycle Operations Tatsuhiro Oyama and other executives from Honda Motor Co., Ltd., who vowed to expand business through new models to achieve a production and sales target of 1 million units in 92 Ki.
