although rx8 is a very gd car....specially considering the price u can get one around here...its amazing! has very nice built quality and handles gr8..! but u are eventually going to have rotary issues here (from wat i have seen)

but S2000 is by far the best car honda has made....it has brilliant handling...the 2.2 litre engine has amazing potential.... if u supercharge/turbo it you are looking at 350 whp stock which takes it to all new level

comparing the two....s2000 is more of a man's car or shall i say car enthusiast's....I know for a fact all the petrol heads i know around here would buy s2000 over the rx8 anytime....but it all comes down to personal choice.

my vote: given the choice i would buy an s2000 for sure..

@mohsin84, its not 2.2, its 2.0 f20c rwd... and almost any honda motor except the D will achieve 350 whp on a simple turbo setup, take any K and its gna be no less than 400 whp witha nice stock setup

HONDA S2000 mate Rx8 and Honda S2000 all the way
Rx8 is a sports car with an element of practicality it looks like a two door but infact is a 4 door with 4 seats and u can move around in it a million miles an hour with ur grand ma and grand pa on the back
Where as Honda S2000 is a raw sports car with Hondas Performance and it means business only and mean business
SO both are good cars but both have their own place its like comparing a orangeto a banana

S2000 used to rock but since i saw Rx-8 it was totally awesome!!!! its body is totally cool no fault in that.......and the performance of S2000 is pathetic......finally the result comes to leading that Rx-8 comes out to be the winner......

The AP2 comes with a 2.2 ltr engine, F22c if im not mistaken.

my friend....although even the f20c would make those numbers, but the later ap2 models came with f22c motors.....2.2 dohc! the more the merrier!

The S2000 with the F22 engine IMO is a better choice because, while you give up top end power, you get lower down torque which is important around town, where you'll be driving it most of the time.
But honestly forget the RX8... it takes ages to get to its peak power, plus no one understands what the hell goes on inside a rotary engine.

yaar s2000 and rx8 were both made for circuit racing , not drag racing ok , i know you all must be knowing that , well both cars are equally poised , both cars have 50/50 weight distribution, both cars have roughly same hp s2000 (237~240) rx8 (245~250) both cars have 6 speeds , to be honest rx8 will win , ok ok stop the hate s2000 fans but this is the fact , well on ther other had i dont like rx8 cause of its disappointing performance after RX-7
so to sum up rx8 is better than s2000 , but i dont like rx8
