Honda service center in Islamabad

Hi,

Im new to isloo, and need advice on where to go for some minor problems with my '02 vti - tuning, shocks, and power steering problems mostly...would recommend a honda service center? which one, or is there any other good "general mechanic" you would recommend?

How good is the Raffique Autos one in Aabpara? Do they have good mechanics?? Are the I10 one better?

In my personal opinion, authorized Honda dealerships are good if you own the current model of any local Honda. For older generation Honda models they usually don't have parts or expertise.
In 2006 I visited a Honda dealership in Karachi to investigate a knocking sound coming from the front right wheel of my Civic 95 (then it was 11 years old). The guy there looked and checked a bit and then declared that the whole strut tower assembly would have to be changed along with the wheel hub. Plus the dealership told me I would have to buy parts from the market and no guarantee would be given. Wow! What a deal! I went to my mechanic and he charged me Rs 200 for replacing a worn out link piece in the right steering assembly with another used link piece.
For you Civic 02 you can visit a Honda dealership to get an idea and for a second opinion visit a reputable workshop. That's my advice.
