Checkout cars being scrapped by Honda flood hit cars, includes Civic/City etc

A flood damaged Honda car is destroyed at the Honda factory in Ayutthaya province on December 27, 2011. Japanese car assembler Honda automobile (Thailand) started to scrap 1,055 cars which were damaged by the recent floods in Thailand, ensuring that damaged parts would not be sold, the company said in statement.

on 23 july 2001 in pindi...my uncles corolla was 80% under water....and well after cleaning of interior and checking of gearbox.....they car was back to normal....
but i guess the government or insurance companies pay for loss from natural calamity....
