Honda vs Suzuki vs Yamaha

Just sharing my personal experience of Yamaha YBR vs Honda CB150F vs Suzuki GS150SE & GR 150 in Sindh. You may or may not agree with me.
1. Yamaha YBR.
Pros: Low maintenance, Smooth & comfortable ride, Negligible vibrations.
Cons: Expensive Spares, Unqualified mechanics in majority of except Karachi, Low resale values.

1. CB 150F
   Biggest Fault: 1.It reduces Mobil oil no matter what you do. I have observed on numerous oil changes that my brand new CB reduced it's engine oil by 300 ml. I have used Honda's genuine as well as imported oils as well but the result was same. The fault lies in piston system of CB 150F.

2. Low resale value. It's resale value is lower but higher than YBR.

3. Suzuki GS150 & 150SE
   Pros: Lowest maintenance costs, powerful & sturdy engine, comfortable.
   Cons: Poor braking (Non SE version), absence of qualified mechanics (except Karachi), Low resale values.

4. Suzuki GR 150
   Pros; All good except price.
   Cons: Extremely expensive & quite a long waiting for spare parts.

I've had my 2022 model 125f for about 1 yr now.

It is an ok bike. We only use it to ride around the colony for occasional errands. Nothing more. In one year or riding, it has only done 1850 Kms.

However, there have been so many quality issues.

1) Rear suspension arm bushings squeak. Took 2 honda locations 4 times to repair this issue. They tried greasing it and then a new bushing. Ended up having to replace the entire arm. Warranty replaced.
2) spark plug failed. Warranty replaced
3) bolts rusty. The bolts on the suspension forks, handle Bar and more have rusted. My bike stays parked a lot and usually under a cover. Yet somehow, rust has creeped in. Even the rear chain sprocket is rusty already. Honda's solution? Use black paint over the rust
4) headlight failed. Had honda inspect. They cracked the headlight cover too. Ended up never going there again as they said 'it was already like that'
5) front tire is weather cracked after only 1 yr.

Apart from that, it's an 'ok' bike. Would I buy one again? NEVER.

I wanted to buy the gr150, but the dealership said it's a 4 month wait which is why I went for the honda instead.

Depends on where you want to ride. In the city or for touring.

I wouldn't. There are better options out there.

Kept a CB150F for 2 years and traveled allover Pakistan including all high altitude passess of North; Broghil, Lowari, Noori, Batogah, Gyari, Khunjerab & the border areas of FATA including Gawi & Angor Adda . Never had any problem infact the low end torque of CB is matchless. Sold it 2 months back after riding it 56k kilometers.

Did you face any ring piston or smoke issue and what pil did you use?

Sorry for replying too late. I am using AHL 10w-30 in my all Honda bikes and never had any problem.
