Why cant we have this bike in Pakistan, it is so practical for home use ! The basket is very useful for daily shopping instead of holding shopping bags in your hands !

If mechanics are the reason behind HONDA not introducing a new model, than we should not object to companies policy of introducing new models by changing stickers only.

Thw 'Wave' is one of the best selling bikes by Honda and has been in production since the 1960's!. I think it is the best selling bike in the world. This bike will run on any kinda fluid and the engine will keep ticking even after being thrown off a 6-floor building as i witnessed in a tv program.

Some might not agree with me but if any new shape would be introduced here (highly unlikely) it would fail miserably, nation of sheep would not opt for anything new, hence, the older the technology/design, the more successful it is (take the example of Suzuki meherbaan)

This sort of machine was introduced by Suzuki ~9 years back It was 110 CC 4 stroke & quite fuel ecnomical & i think that was having auto clutch & Electric starter but since our market donot accept changes so the bike didnt got hit in market & the import of bike was discontinued. However after some time Suzuki introduces SD 110 with almost same engine & starts a new trend of 4 stroke engine in 100CC class. Which is succesful to some extant.

one thing more in pakistan we and our younger generation been assumed a typical sketch of a bike in our mind so how can we agree to think that,this is also a bike.......lol.
i know very well in most of countries these kinda bike r for urban use and u can also have a good,smooth long ride.
in malaysia,indonasia,taiwan,china,japan,india,uk,france and also in all europe these kind of bikes r being used in bulk.but hum to dunya main sab se niralay hain hum is kind k structure ko bike hi mannanay ko tyar nahi hotay or diff label like zanana sawari,bachon ki cheez waghera keh ker kum az kum apna dil peeshori or owner ka lahori ker detay hain

Only 2 person can ride this and in Pakistan average is 3 and some time 4 persons and if we go for full family then 2 adults and 4 kids.

Honda Activa/Suzuki Access/TVS Scooty are real Hit with Men and Women alike in India.Very useful.but ,the market is mostly for Motorcycles .
Electric Scootters also has a small niche market.
@nickatnite:the scootter you mentioned being thrown out of from multi-storied building is "Honda Cub" ..it looks like old Bajaj M80's.

TVS Motors looks serious to launch a step-thru bike in India and no we are not talking about the 110cc Neo, this time. Avid BIKE India reader Vignesh Giridharan from Bangalore spotted a new step-thru bike being pushed to the limit by TVS test-mule near its Hosur factory and has shared all these photos of the bike with us.

The bike has been christened as Rockz and has a gas-reservoir for the rear suspension with MIG inscribed on it and interestingly is equipped with rear disc-brakes! At first glance the new bike seemed to have a strong resemblance to the Neo but on closer inspection we noticed several new goodies and slightly different design features. The instrument cluster revealed that the bike had a four speed transmission and gear-shift indicator. Also, a choke just below the horn switch hinted that the bike was it was not equipped with fuel injected. But the biggest difference between the bike in the spy pics and Neo is the new bike sports a bigger, 125cc engine!

Remember the goodies we mentioned above? The Rockz is loaded with amazing gadgetry like MP3 player, FM, complete with control buttons like play/pause, next/previous track. This integrated music system is located just below the handlebar, on the inside panel along with anti-theft security system. The tail-lamp seem to be LED and resembles the Apache RTR.

With the help of Google, we found out that TVS sells the Rockz 125cc in Indonesia along with the NEO 110cc and Apache RTR 160cc. Looks like TVS is treading the unconventional path, as it recently introduced Jive - the first auto-clutch bike in India and now might be looking at launching the 125cc muscular step-thru – Rockz!

(My new motorbike, 2008 Yamaha Nouvo RC)
Well, I replaced my aging 4 year old red 2003 Yamaha Nouvo RC with the 2008 red Yamaha Nouvo RC. Trying to get my hands on one took nearly three days. I thought I would just go to one Yamaha dealer and just buy the red Nouvo that I wanted. That’s what I did back in July, 2004, when I bought my first Nouvo.
Nope, it was not that easy. I ended up visiting 7 Yamaha dealers in 4 different districts in Saigon last Sunday with my Vietnamese friend Anh Ngoc. I was a bit surprised at the different price ranges. Four years ago I was able to get my first Nouvo at the base price with a little discount. Last Sunday, forget it. The red Nouvo RC was highly sought after and the Yamaha dealers knew it.
The price range for the red Nouvo RC went from 30 million VND to 32 million VND (base price was 29,500,000 VND). That did not include the registration fee which ranged from 2-3 million VND (I did not register my motorbike in Saigon so I was able to deduct the registration fees).
Finally, last Monday I decided to go with the Yamaha dealer that serviced my motorbike monthly. I ended up paying 31 million VND for my motorbike. I did not mind since I knew they would service my new bike for me for the next 2-3 years. In fact, instead of having to wait a day, they got my red Nouvo RC in 30 minutes.
It has been a joy since. I will give a thorough review next week when I take it on a long spin around the city. So far this week, I drove it 120 km but that is all. I am waiting for my new registration number from up North (Ninh Binh to be exact). I friend Minh Ngoc, who helped me with the first registration, helped me with this one as well.
Oh yeah, I sold my 2003 Yamaha Nouvo RC within a day. Mr. Lawrence Sinclair bought it from me last Tuesday. Please do not tell him that he bought a lemon Air conditioner does not work but the window shield wipers operate very well when there is a girl riding behind I will help Lawrence pimp up his Nouvo this Sunday…

That was about Honda CUB dear the bike which got record sales, it wasnt ebt Honda wave.

personally i think all these bikes are booring in shape and not attarctive at all...
