Honest opinion needed - exchanging city 1.5 auto 2016 with prius 2011

AOA guys,

i need your opinion, i bought city a month ago , before that i was using vitz, now i miss JDM drive and honestly city is no way near JDMs, i am looking to exchange it with prius 2011 white 1.8, what do you guys recommend,

i have 2016 honda city 1.5 aspire auto in white, the person is ready to exchg but i need honest opinions about prius performance, issues etc.

Well, I must say, Prius is far better car as compare to City. But when it comes to parts, city is better option. You can enjoy Prius or any other japan origin car untill it goes to workshop.

Prius has low resale
Small issues can cause you thousands of rupees
Low ground clearance
If batteries died, your wallet will die
All upon personal choice
If you can go for civic X by adding some money
You will forget prius vitz and all jdms

brother i am off as same situation as you. purchased new city 3 years ago, never ever visited workshop for any kind of fault. just a routine maintenance. now i am planning to shift to prius as one of my friend is selling it. but after reading Prius thread i am kinda scared as i have fear to visit workshop but cannot afford un planned maintenance...

nope no issue at all, i have now bought aqua 2015 and i had same conerns but dam it rocks...

there are no issues....every part is available, just get the car checked from efi electrician to know if any thing is week or not....rest these cars are heaven....

i respect your opinion, whereas in my thinking, no comparison with jdms....in every aspect...

Jdms are jdms but the main think is that if you find a good jdm car
Mostly are accidented repaired etc
If you get a quality jdm car then forget pkdm
But it's not easy to find a good jdm
Even prius mostly are rough used repaired etc
And they are just headache

How many Prius you have owned that you are making such tall claim about Prius being a headache or trouble. Or its any of your friends, relatives cars and you are speaking on their behalf?

I was saying repaired accidented or the car's with mechanical fault is a headache and if it's a hybrid It's more headache
Yes I kept two priuses
First was 2007 that served well and then a 2012 but it' wasn't rolling due to some issue
I changed the batteries the motors but at last I had to change the wiring but total cost I about 4 lac that I spent but after that I sold it to be on safer side

I'm not making a claim.. If you get a genuine car it's your luck and if you get some sort of faulty one you are gone....
Our mechanics can't handle such car..
