Horrible fuel average in cultus

the petrol avg i am getting is way too low, i would guess somewhere around the 7km/l mark. plz let me know what should i do to increase the fuel efficiency of my car.

car is cultus carb driven almost 40k.

get ur carburettor serviced,besides thats get ur tappets adjusted and use a low vescosity engine oil such as 5w30 or 5w50! and use some fuel system cleaner if u dun wanna use that try adding hi-octane to the fuel!
try changing the station ur filling petrol from...low quality fuel even leads to bad mileage
and get ur air/fuel ratio of the carb set by sum good mechanic! make sure all ur tires have 30-32 psi of air in em! even make sure that the wheels are aligned and balacned! do all this and then give me a feedback!
and last of all rpm zada kheech keh na chalao drive lyk a human and not lyk a hooligan!

I am using 5w30 oil.. and also use have a decent hi-octane ratio present in my tank.... the petrol station i get petrol from belongs to a friend and beleive me its the best in town... i used to use the same pump back when my petrol average was much better...

i rarely change gears under 3.5k rpm.. and my tires have decent air and they are all balanced...

i`ll get the air/fuel ratio adjusted, new spark plugs, get tuning done and will get my carburretor serviced and will get back to you.

stp fuel additive works good for electronic fuel injection cars.

i m also have carbi cultus 07 model...81000 KM done on only petrol....my car gives me 588 or some time 596 KMs in full tank MASHALLAH....my car is totally stock, no add ons in my car , just install 4 tip bosch plugs last year for better pickup....using zic a+ for last 3 years , change the oil on 5000 kms...

Im sorry about that sir, its changed. Thanks but no need for any references.. i know a few really good mechanics which take up all the work on all our cars in the family.

my car was previously on cng,. thats why the petrol average didnt bother me much.. but just a few days back i removed cng.

Come on yaar illdude get ur car tuned its not the problem, tappets adjusted, carburator serviced with carbon clean spray also at ur next engine oil change get your engine oil bay flushed.. exhaust increase the mileage it do not decrease it, dont remove it gives good pick up ..

I am Using 06 Carbi Cultus and the ave is 12 - 14 km/litre (with A/C) and sometimes 16km/litre.

• I dont not pull her more than 2RPM
• Tyres Dunlop-Eco 35psi Each.
• Exaust same with which she came.
• Engine Oil Petromens.
• I never dust the Air-cleaner always replaced when I see dust on it.
• Clutch plate pressure plate - never changed.

In your case, its seems that the carbi or settings are not in order, Cultus (mine one is a simple car or decent car bought in good days)

In 2016 I bought Suzuki Cultus (Limited Edition).
Maine wh 59,000+ kms chla li ha. Uski average but achi ni h. Almost 11-12km/l krti ha without AC. Anyone knows the solution?

For some reason mine remains good without AC. As soon as I turn on the AC the fuel goes down like AC is the second and third engine. Any suggestions?

In carby cultus the ac causes some load on engine which may cause it to give bad mileage try to drive with light paddle clean air filter after 1000kms

Thank you I will try that. But for now the filter is new so I am not sure what is happening here. I will have the AC checked too.

what do you mean by carby intake ? there is already a plastic air intake system on the carby cultus... can you explain what are you talking about ?
