I called hotel Jawa Murree. They are asking 4,000 per day. Is it a good hotel to stay with family worth the price.

Can any one name any other good hotel with tariff around 3,000 both in Muree and Nathiagali.

Jun - July 2011 , i am plaaning to visit Nathiagali and would like to stay for two to three weeks. Could you please help me in finding some decent furnished flat with kitchen, we are family of 2+3 kids.

Called hotel Metropole & Felton. Guy at Metropole asked for staggering 7500 Rs./night (eventually slipped to 4000:)) while Felton's room is available for 4000 Rs./night (dropped to 3000).

i was in nathiagali for 1 days sunday. stayed in a guest house with very good environment, walking distance from main road. rate was 1400

i am writing this while sitting in a hotel room in murree, its a standard room. i will not say a best room but economical and standard. negotiated rent at 1300 per night for 2 nights...
weather at nathiyagali was very pleasant, people planning for murree must cancel their program koz its very hot weather here these days...

Hello Anjum,
Can you please guide me about my summer retreat. I am planning to stay at Murree for few weeks like 2 weeks with my family. Do you know any guest houses or rest houses? Not necessary close to murree city or mall road just need a calm and cold environment? Well furnished rooms and with kitchen and easy transportation nearby. I see your previous post about similar kind of guest house will be talking to him soon.

you posted a really great posts about murree hotels .... but your most posts about murree hotels were posted in 2010 , obviously now rates will be changed .... can you suggest 2 or 3 best but economical hotels where i can stay with family ?

Shangrilla huts in skardu are by far the best place to stay. I went there in 2009 rents were between 4500 to 8000 per cottage per night, but if you book before the start of season. During the season rates are between 12K to 15 K. The staff is very hospitable and the food is superb. have a trout fish farm a zoo and a pagoda restaurant. Their home made cherry and apricot jams area must have.
