SO at last we reach our Destination in Gilgit City - Gilgit Chinar Inn Motel (PTDC)
There are many new and old hotels in the Gilgit But Traditional PTDC motel always is my favourite :
Because lot of greenary , apmle parking space and beautiful Lawns on the three side -
away from the traffic and rush of main Gilgit road - its at Calm and peaceful place Baber Road near River road and you
can reach and leave with out getting in the traffic of the main city
The beautiful Lawns are main attraction , where old large trees and many flowers make you fresh and relax
though the cleaninnes and service are blow par but the atmosphere compensate for that
there are ot of information boards on wall and some traditional items revealing History
The Dinning Hall is quite spacious and well decorated - serve standard food
NOTE : As in most of places , kindly order your meals at least 1 1/2 hours before
There are two types of rooms available - Standard and Deluxe
the rate of Standard room is 2,400 /- and Deluxe is Rs- 3.300/ per day inclusive of tax with one matterss free
The deluxe rooms are facing park and standard are in a side block building
With passing /time the weather is getting swear & hot some time - So it times that some rooms with AC be provided
The other thing is that you mostly have to make you booking from Islamabad - and in season have to make it
bit earlier like 15 days before other wise may not get it
