I never pass through Kel or Sharda, but I was in Muzafarabad and Karen, in Muzafrabad as this is a city you can easily get any good hotel bu tin Karen few guest house available there and almost all are good with limited facilities.

Would this be an appropriate thread to ask for furnished apartments in Lahore/Islamabad or is there a thread specific to that?

Basically my wife and I want to experiment with moving to a different city for a while since we work online. Hotels might not be the best option when we are looking at a duration of a month or two. I'm super confused about how would one go about this. We definitely can't be hauling our furniture with us everywhere we go so we need something furnished with good service and with a monthly package...

Any kind of help would be super

Been through the experience last summer. Nothing of the sort of even reasonable quality exists in Islamabad especially for families. Your best shot is a guest house in F8 at ateast 2000 a day. Thats what I had to do out of lack of options. Still if you need to know anything and do make it to Islamabad I will always be around. And please do make it to Islamabad, if you love peace and calm it is among the best cities in Pakistan.

Hotel Fairy Land Resort

Its located at upper Hunza near Easgle Nest hotel and mountain land finger. Small one but clean one. We stayed twice once in September 2017 and second in October 2019. Both time's experience was great in terms of cleanliness, hot water showers, heated mattresses and courteous staff. The only problem one face- per room s is the route to hotel from Karimabad particularly in night. REst all is good. The rates were also very nominal Rs. ,5000/- per night since it was off season however in peak times it is Rs. 10-14,000/-. strongly recommended.

Just talked to guy in afaq hotel. Thay are charging 5500 pkr for one night of double bed room. No prebookings, only walikin customers are entertained

i stayed in Afaq Hotel in last October and i paid 3500 per night. no need to prebook becuase if there is rush they usually do not honor the booking and if in case there is no rush then you will be able to find room easily as there are plenty of hotels.
