Yes bro it is Fortuner and i am also planning to take it to Skardu in 1st week of July InshaAllah.. My points of Interest are Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, Mantokha Waterfalls and Deosai.. I havent been there before so dont know much abt Road conditions.. However Karakoram Highway is excellent and fun to drive from Raikot Bridge till Khunjerab.. The patch from Chilas to Raikot Bridge is bumpy with few bad patches as well.. I last year visited Hunza valley and Khunjerab and fell in love with KKH.. Wud love to drive on KKH again and again.. Alhamdolillah i enjoy long haul driving and have even drove 16 yrs continuously..

Well, what about people who don't have 4 wheel drives? I have a 1300 cc corolla (2007) , what would you suggest should I climb from Chilas to Babusar, or take the long route back?
How did your fortuner make the climb?
these days i have even seen 660cc cars on babusar top.
