Dear Islamabad pakwheelers,

This is Faiq from Karachi. I arrived yesterday in Islamabad yesterday evening and staying at Hotel Al-Habib in G7 Markaz. I am with my parents and sister. I want to change my hotel.

Please recommend me a reasonable hotel in Islamabad, Murree & Lahore too, As I intend to visit Lahore too on 1st August.

Today, I am moving to Murree. I have plans for Hotel Faran. If you have any idea of a better hotel than Hotel Faran, please do let me know.

As far as budget is concerned, Maximum of 5000-6000 rs per day is my budget. May be I can go for more.

4 star Hotels are more than welcome, But If you have any idea, Please let me asap.

Go for Shangrilla Resort and Hotel!!! Its the best one in Murree!!! Its located in Lawrance college Road!!!

Also try Cecil Hotel near Mall road Murree!!!

i once stayed at a guest house once advertised on PW called "Residencia"
and believe me it was beyond my expectations
very good, and nice

There is one in G-11/1 Islamabad.

Recently opened very nice/ maintained rooms/ family suites and resonable rates. I have seen the locality myself, perfect for familes!!!

In islamabad, try for residencia its cheap and quite awesome environment for family.I personally experienced and this rest house if of Pakhwheeler named " Taimoor ".

Guest house rates in Islamabad are subject to sectors. F6 F7 F8 are expensive whereas G6 G7 G8 G9 are normal.

There are many family oriented hotels in murree like Jawwa, Lockwood, Blue pines , Metropole etc. It depends on your preference and budget. Since it is season so all good hotels are expensive. However you can still have their prices on Tourplanner.pk (Tour Planner, Packages, Flight,Pakistan Hotels,Pakistan Tours, Holiday Package Booking - TourPlanner.pk) It is a hotel booking website and offer online hotel booking as well. Normal Hotel,s room price starts from Rs 4000 during summer.
