House required for rent Near CMH Rawalpindi

my father served two terms in Rawalpindi. he did also his post graduate there. But late 70"s. Well I have alot of stories how AMC behave with them when the OTHERS visit the CMH. (H)

Why not the Askari near Qasim market or Askari 10?
Askari 7 and 14 is also good. but far from CMH.
Westridge is also a good option.

Askari 10/Askari 11 are pretty expensive, no? CMH ain't that far from Askari 14... 10-15min drive (Askari 14-->Lal Kurti-->GHQ-->CMH). Though I don't know whats the the traffic situation there like in peak times but generally there is no issue.

Its next to impossible to get a house in rent in Askari 10. Plus its location is pretty odd. Layee ki fragrance and all.
Askari 14 is a good place and closer to CMH.

As my abba jan always say.. services arms of Pakistan Army are involved in war and peace time both. I would say they have much more in their plate in peace time. One can only realize if visit an Army Hospital... :P

Hahah. Houses tin Askari X are oretty cheap isi liye. An uncle of mine who is service in MS Br got a house there for merely 3 million back in thise days when it was newly launched.
Long story short its not a goodnplace to live.

But army hospitals are awesome and I trust army Doctors more than any other civilian. I'm patient of Maj Gen Sohail Hafeez orthopedic surgeon. I got my foot twisted which ended up in ligament rapture and now I'm better.

some very good.. used to drive over that bridge short of this choke to scheme 3 to meet someone special..

some professional related memories, when the bridge was blown up and our firm got a contract to repair ASAP.

My firm including myself got an award from then COAS.. Though our payment was never made for many months.. lol as normal with "sarkari idara".
