House required for rent Near CMH Rawalpindi

A friend in Rawalpindi CMH,requires a flat/house in a neat and clean locality ,Near work place, for rent, in cantonment area.
Preferable areas where he is looking for a house/flat priority wise are:

Flats=
Askari apartments on Willoby road , near ordnance mess in front of Dheri Hasan Abad. (Only ground floor or first floor)

House=(Indepandant or portion)
Indus road, near Lal Kurti (if a portion then at least 3 bed room, with separate meters and ground floor)
Harly street (if a portion then at least 3 bed room, with separate meters and ground floor)

Its very hard to get MOQs in stations like pindi. One has to bear with a v long waiting list.

Accomodation is army's headache. I have been brought up in a pure fauji mahol so I can say this for sure.

Yes bro u r rite it is the headache of army to construct the accommodation but getting an accommodation unit is the headache of the individual. U r an army baby so thats y u thot like that. ur parents must be knowing the pain of getting an MOQ alloted in A class station n that too pindi.
u need patience to hang around in the waiting list or some good pawa to jack u up in the list.

Bro the locations you mentioned.........its very difficult but not impossible. Even if you do get one.........youll have to put quite an amount from your own pocket which often becomes difficult. Try to find in cob lines near qasim market. Reasonable and its also a trend in pindi for AMC doctors.

Nope. Not parents. He is my uncle but he has a house of his own since 2006 so thats not much of a problem.
My mother in law (to be) served in AFIMH rwp and she was given an accomodation. Now she has been posted into navy (secondment) in Karachi. PNS karsaz has provided her with accomodation.

well in Rawalpindi its a big problem since not much accommodation availible here so here the people have to search for a suitable house or flat.

Whats the budget of your friend?
If its 20+ then refer him 'Askari 14', CMH is like a 10min drive from here.

sir, my abba jan served AMC being a doc. for 32 years. retired in 1999 @ rank of Brig. Never had an issue, as since I rememeber abba jan never posted to rawalpindi.

1986 onwards he remained on CO position at various locations. ghar pehlay say tayar. :P

my father served two terms in Rawalpindi. he did also his post graduate there. But late 70"s. Well I have alot of stories how AMC behave with them when the OTHERS visit the CMH. (H)
