1st thing about such business is legitmacy of vehicle ownership.
other then a brand new, automotive sale of a registered vehicle over an open letter vehicle is a Big No.
there is no way to verify if the seller is legitimate owner or the vehicle is under any scam or extrotion scandal. CPLC is only source to verify vehicle clearance but not the ownership. The Registration document is only source to know ownership.
Next is physicals of vehicle.
do some online research about how to identify an accident repair car, how to look for body shell, panels repaint. Make list of the items for visual inspection and condition of visible items i.e door handles, tyre conditions, rear lights, front lamps, marker lights (indicator lamps), bumper fittings, body curve alignment etc etc. Interior seat conditions, arm rests, dashboard, cluster, steering, gear shifters under steering pedal condition etc.
to me it is science not just holding a wallet as an investor.
