How can we goto NARAN / KAGHAN by Public Transport?

We are 3 students & We wish to go naran kaghan saif ul malook & shogran on Inshallah 12th of June 2011 from Islamabad so plz can anybody tell us that what rout should we get it for it by public transport?

Hop on PTDC bus from Flashman Hotel Rawalpindi and it will go direct to Naran

ISL to Abattabad, Manshera

From manshera, u got Hiace Van which goes directly to Naran.

I came back from Naran last week. Jeep trek is open till Lulusar lake but Babusar pass is still closed and expected to be open in 20-25 days. Normal cars can travel till Naran and even till Beysal but alot of glaciers and rocky terrain in the way.

Hotel rate in naran was around Rs. 700/800 for 2 bed and 1000-1200 for 4 bed but this was expected to be doubled in the next week because allot of people are traveling to naran and the season is officially open. Weather is very nice with slight chances of rain. Regarding Jeep rate it is always cheaper to hire jeep from Balakot for the whole trip rather than hiring different jeeps for each destination. Jeep rates depend on destinations. We paid Rs. 15000 for Balakot>Shogran>SiriPaye>Naran>Lulusar>SaifulMuluk>Balakot in 4 days. The driver was also our guide so it was worth it.

its not a problem to go Naran any more.. PTDC bus may be having issue about timing and limited availability of seats but you can board into Hiace or Coaster for Mansehra and take Hiace again or a private taxi from Mansehra to Naran... if you start your journey in morning you can easily reach Naran in after noon or evening.. going with friends is really fun and economical as well.. make sure to look for some hotels to get an idea or fares and do bargain as well...

What is the best area to go for meditation ? Sort of rehab ..... Around 10 to 15 hrs drive from Lahore ... What's the best mode of public transport if traveling solo.
