Guys, i have this question for sometime in my mind that we normally set the car AC at max cool in modern cars, i am talking about new corolla vitz civic cars which results obviously in increased fuel consumption
Also if we set the thermostat a bit lower instead of max cool then i'v heard that some heated air from the radiator is mixed with the AC chilled air, however compressor keeps on working so it doesn;t mainly effect the consumption, is that true?
Its a bit confusing but it is also not recommended to keep switching AC on and off rapidly as it may short out its life. So whats the best solution to keep your car cool and save some fuel as well, which is the best thermostat setting?
I have Vitz 2007 so any suggestions keeping in view this car will be appreciated.
