How has PakSuzuki increased Swift height?

as u can all see, Pak Suzuki has modified the height of the swift.
I hate the front-raised look of the swift.

I want to bring it back to its stock height.

Lowering springs have been suggested by all and sundry.

But i dont think Pak Suzuki has the decency to install custom, higher SPRINGS in a car to alter it. They always go for cheap solutions, and i fear such is the case here.

I do not wish to add lowering springs if the original raising modification is still in place.

Many members here claim to have sources in PakSuzuki.
Can anyone utilise their influence and find out what they have done to increase the height?

Is it the springs or is it something else?

When did you spotted this change?
I mean since when they changed this ride height?

The higher height seems a sticker. and the lower height book seems to have no sticker, theres a chance that they forgot to paste the sticker, a official car brochere can confirm whats true, and someone from Pak Suzuki can only confirm if it actualy happened or just a mis-print.

its a misprint, i highly doubt these guys would make a change and not yap about it.

its a common practice in pakistan for every locally made car.. what do u think that its a rocket science to install bigger springs? every locally made car is a bit higher that the international modal because of road conditions and stupid speed bumps in pakistan

@daniyal: it has been there ever since i bought the car in Feb. Its from the first batch of swifts, cuz i thought first 1000 were imported
Car is from jan '10 batch.
@chinyoti: the manual has the printing date of November 2009, long before the Swift was available. Most probably, they made the change later and added sticker to update info. I bet manuals printed afterwards will be printed with this thing edited instead of the sticker.
@illdude: this change is something that spoils the look and the intended balance of the car. nothing to yap about.
@lunatic: if there would have been plans for a cng cylinder, toh they would have raised it from the REAR, not the front. its already comparatively low from the back, which is actually the normal height.
According to suzuki salesman: sir bus iss gaari main yahi masla hai, peechay say neechay hai.
News flash, peechay say neechay nai, aagay say oopar hai.

that "change" will help you alot in the longrun.
-crossing speed breakers
-damaging underbody of vehicle
-damaging suspension
etc.

its there caz if ud closely notice the car, local ones are higher from the front than the back and iv only noted this in models sold here.. all international models have equal hieght between front and back.. it was one of the first things i noticed when i was at the showroom, buying one. told the salesman, k gaari agay sai unchee peechay sai neechee kyu hai, he's like caz its standing on a slope.. i smiled and gave him a star on his hand..
iv installed shorter springs to make it look balanced.. but the problem with that is major.. as the shock comes to a contracted position and so loses most of its travelling distance and when u hit a medium bump at medium speed.. thapaak ker k awaaz atee hai, u can feel that the shock contracts and hits its limits
im in the process to get OEM shocks and springs caz i wldnt recommend sports one at all!!
this is the ONLY thing wrong with the car btw..

did u get lowering springs? or did u cut original ones?

the mechanic i go to, tried a couple of shorter springs and installed the ones which sat properly in the spring cup.. test drove the car and was ok but at higher speeds than say 50, its pretty harmfull, even on medium bumps... and ride dosnt feel.. u know right aswell.. just waiting till i find em

yup i m sure they have installed bigger spring, the cheaper solution is installing spacers but that will ruin the purpose of shock.. installing bigger springs is not a big deal for them. all u need to do is take out ur original springs and take them to some shop and get a big smaller ones but that will put some more load on ur shocks
