How is Gujranwala Bypass Condition?

Aoa Guys,

Few months back Gujranwala bypass had some construction going on that was major problem for traffic.

Anybody knows if the construction work is completed??????

Its in appalling condition& if you are stuck there, it could an hour. Go through the city & drive carefully.

ByPass Condition almost Same... and also dont try G.T Road from inside Gujranwala City... Underpass is under construction near Sialkoti Gate... u can bypass Gujranwala city from Sialkot Bypass ... that route is almost clear...

that route is not feasible. it will add lots of kms to the trip. sialkot bypass is loooong way off gt road.

Now Sialkot Bypass Road is totally Double ... Few KM's does't matter..

brother could you kindly elaborate. if i am going from lahore to say pindi from GT road. where will i get on sialkot bypass and where will the bypass road lead me back to GT road?
Also please tell how many additional kms, approximately, will be added?

^ Bro when u come from Lhr side, Chan Da Qilla By Pass >> Dont take Left turn Just enter in Gujranwala City, Hardly 1.5 - 2km ahead after crossing Canal Bridge u'll see a Traffic Signal for Right Turn.. Thats is Sialkot ByPass Road... Take Right turn and just Follow the Road, no need to take any right or Left turn, there r two Railway Crossing Bridges, one at the Start of this road n 2nd at the end of this road... Pindi ByPass Road and Sialkot ByPass road meet at same point on GT Road.. u can also check Google maps... no More KM's from this way.. i think..

as per google maps:

via sialkot bypass - 18 kms
via gujranwala bypass - 16 kms
via gujranwala city - 13 kms

condition of both gujranwala bypass and gt road through gujranwala is bad.
kms are not much, if road is clean and not too much traffic then i would prefer the sialkot bypass.

brother have you travelled through sialkot bypass? how is the road and traffic condition? is it dual carriage way??
Also is there any sign board for sialkot bypass on gt road??

hmmmmmm.. i think there is no sign board placed on GT Road.. No need to worry bro.. Sialkot Bypass Road is now Clean n Smoooth ... Just try it..
