According to service manual, there is 6 litres of coolant in the whole system, including radiator, hoses, pump, engine...

Thank you brother, according to the service manual of santro in pakistan there is 6 litres of coolant required or circulating in the whole cooling system as mentioned by you also. now most of the people says that we should maximum put 2 tin of 500 ml green coolant to the radiator which is 500ml+500ml=1 litre, mean 16.5 % composition with 83.5% water, but the problem is that the manual of santro says that we should compose the percentage of water and green coolant as 40% : 60% for tropical areas like pakistan. means 4 glass of green coolant to the 6 glass of distilled water, now according to my calculations, we should pour 2.4 litres of coolant to the radiator. means 5 tin of 500 ml green coolant. 2 can of 1 litre green coolant and 1 tin of 500 ml green coolant.

now my brothers and sisters i like your expert opinion about my calculations, because i may be totally wrong, so please correct me and guide me if you think some mistake. or the scenario is different from this

also in the manual it is mentioned that if you filled with less percentage of green coolant the antirust effect will adversely affected and the radiator will corrode from rust, and if you filled with high percentage of green coolant then the cooling effect of the coolant will affected and the system will become hot instead of cool. so what you think.

Your calculations are right. Better we use large coolant bottles, like Caltex, which is 3L, afaik.

Hi.
Today I decided to change my Hyundai Santro Plus 2000 model coolant and read this form for the exact measurements. But while changing i found out that after complete flushing my car only consumed 3 liters.

How i flush?
Firsr i poured a bootle of liqui moly's radiator cleaner. Drove the car for aroumd 30 mins. Then i let it cool down. Then I removed the hose next to radiator cap. Turned the engine on and gave it a bit of accelerations. Then i inserted a fresh water hose to the radiator inlet (next to cap) and again i gave it some throttle. After that i removed the hose and again gave some throttle until all the water came out. Then i put the hose back and started putting coolant. Poured 2L Caltex Coolant and around 1.2L deionized water. Thats where it got full. So according to me i poured 3.2L. how is it possible?
