How much engin oil cultus 2011 needs 3ltr or 4 ltr?

Last time i got 3 ltrs oil pack for my cultus 2011. But my mechanic told me to get 4ltr pack, he then poured 3. 5 ltrs into it. Wen i cheked the gadge in the morning it was slightly above the maximum mark. I thought if i got 3 ltrs, that would have been ok. Wat is ur opinion?

3.25 is for carby and 3.5 is for efi
thats what i know

For carby it is 3.3 as per the manual
