How much wait for Liana 1.3L?

I am looking forward to selling my XLi and buying the CNG Liana 1.3L. According to unconfirmed reports, the production has started. Can anyone confirm so that I can plan ahead accordingly.

Selling a Corolla for a Suzuki? Well that's a first. Dude, stick with the Xli. Liana has a nasty shape, although the interior is quite nice.

liana has the worst rear end(both in picture and in reality) and the interiar of the 1300 will not be the same as that of the 1600.

nashit is right.Liana looks like its compressed from its sides.it dont looks good.dont sell ur Xli for it man.i have heard that liana would be failed in pakistan and availability of spare parts would also be a problem.Xli dont have these problems.

My only intention of selling the XLi was that Liana would have a factory fitted CNG Kit and Faber cylinder, otherwise I know XLi is more spacious than Liana and has more resale value than any other brand on the road. Anyway let Liana roll out. I will decide accordingly.

My second option was some sort of a SUV or APV vehicle wherein I could install a CNG kit and won't have to compromise on space, especially for keeping suitcases etc. In Pakistan I don't see many options like these. I have lived in Hong Kong and every imaginable car/state car, wagon, SUV, 4X4 was there. I wonder will Pakistan will ever import them.

Liana 1.6 is selling 1.50 lacs below its factory price. Its avaiable for around 11.50 Zero meter in Karachi. But no takers. Ample proof to total failure of the car. Actually Suzuki ppl were trying to capture that niche market of VTi and SE Saloon of 1600cc but somehow could not.

i went to one ov d suzuki dealer in lahore today, he told me liana bookin will b open on 15th feb

he didnt knw about price.

he said it took almost 8-9 months

i think, sellin corolla n waitin 9 months for Liana dosnt worth it u can av sum1 to carry ur name in 9 months

and hey i asked about white cultus vxr ac+cng he said control price is 6lac, we will give u now in 7lac

You know the way out for 9 months wait. Leasing. Keep your present car and lease out the new car at 15% down payment. Purchase it from the bank when it arrives. Sell your present one then. How about it.

Good idea Hasnain but yaar this car has no comparison with SE saloon or the VTI, Its a small car if compared to corolla or civic, what do you say ?

Perhaps comparing a 1.3 Liana with 1.6 SE Saloon or VTI is out of place. In its category factory fitted CNG Liana will give tough time to CNG converted XLis and Citys. Anyway, my wife has strongly objected to selling XLi to buy Liana. She says instead of doing that install a LAMBDA enabled kit in your Corolla. I was astonished at her knowledge of kits.
