How much wire is required for big 3?

I am just having issues with the voltage with my setup, so I have decided to upgrade to big 3. Just wanted to know how much wire do I need for upgrading. I have suzuki baleno.
While I was window shopping for 0 Guage wire I just found welding plant cable which he said it was 500 amp cable but he did not know the Guage, I have seen some member upgrading big 3 with welding plant cable so is it OK with that too?

Around 3 meters, take mock ups on the lengths of...
1) battery positive to alternator(this will be fused close to the battery)
2) battery negative to chassis
3) battery negative to engine block

For reference images see my old thread called "one step closer to sq heaven".

And for your last question yes the cable is fine just make sure to use proper thimbles at the end that are sealed properly.

Had my big 3 done yesterday. Length of wire was 3.25 meters. Car was suzuki swift. Fused at 80.

I'm using a diy fuse box, one used in cars.These fuses aren't the normal thin ones you usually see but heavy duty and do the job just as well just go to your electrician and find one.Pictures can be seen in the thread I mentioned.

Like i told you, around 10-11 feet (3-3.5m) but get a flexible measuring tape and measure the length of the path by which you will bring the wire.

You must fuse the batt + to alt wire. You can do this by doing what coldi did, or how blacklist1 did it or simply get a anl fuse holder with 150amp fuse like i did.

About the welding wire, make sure the wire is copper and not copper clad aluminum (even though a 0 gauge CCA wire will also improve the current flow considerably). look at the picture below

This is what I did. The jerk electrician didn't scratch the surface to bare metal for ground wire. Alternator to positive is fused with 100 amp. Any suggestions or correction needed?
