I need a rough estimate on how much would it cost to build a double story house on a 4 marla plot in Lahore. Any professionals or someone with some experience in construction or building their own house please share your thoughts.

Well we build recently ( in 2012) in islamabad,, the house is based on 1000 square foot , ( 4 marla) the total cost depends extensively on the quality of the materials used and the type of construction , we payed almost 35 lacs for complete buildup, and material used was of possible best quality according to that time and without wasting too much money on extra shashkas or decorations so for today keep estimate around 35-40,lacs

10 Marla double story house has generally total covered area of 3300 Sq Ft. And if you will go with the A+ construction with Good Tiles (1600 Rs per meter Tiles) and stuff, it will cost you somewhere around 2000 per Sq Ft, so total rough estimate would be 2000 x 3300 = 66 Lac. If you are going with good construction (Not A+, and Marble instead of Tiles) then it would cost you 1600-1700 per Sq. Ft. and total would be around 56 Lac.
